Capas dos livros: As edições italianas de Angélica em 13 volumes

In Italy, there was issued a large number of the books of the work by Anne Golon, but all Angélique books were published completely in a single series only.

In the years 1957-1975, there was the publishing house Garzanti (Milano) as the only publisher in Italy. Garzanti used own titles for published books which correspond to the original titles of the Angélique book series only partially, and each edition had own title (name of collection). At the end of the '50s, there were issued only the first three volumes in collection 'Il Millione'. In the first half of the '60s, the Angélique books were published in two different collections. In the first collection 'Romanzi Moderni', there were the books in hardcover and with the titels that more closely match with the original French names of the single books. In the second collection 'Romanzi e Realtà', there were the books in paperback, and each original volume was divided into two books with their own titels. In the '70s, the Angélique series came back into bookshops in two collections: 'Eroi e Eroine' and 'I Romanzi Verdi'. However, these collections also were not complete. The last edition by the publishing house Garzanti was underway in the '90s, but this series ends already with the second volume.

The publishing house Eurocub was the next publisher that started to issue the Angélique books at the turn of the '70s and '80s, but this series was terminated with the fifth volume. In the '80s, the Angélique books were published by the publishing house Antonio Vallardi and his edition was the only one complete of all series published in Italy. At the end of the '90s, the publisher Tea Due bought the rights for the work by Anne Golon, and brought the novel Angélique in a new edition at the turn of the century. Nevertheless, even this series was incomplete and it ends with the eleventh volume.

For better orientation, given the different names of the individual books, there are not only Italian book titles but also the original titles in French, from which were the books translated.
