In Switzerland, the second book was originally titled 'The Marriage in Toulouse' (Mariage Toulousain). Since 2009, the book was entitled 'The Bartered Fiancée' (La Fiancée Vendue) in the French original. The name of the fifth book was shortened and only released as 'Shadows and Lights' (Ombres et Lumières).
Some publishers used for the second book completly different names - 'Angélique and the Count de Peyrac' (Spain) or 'The Wedding Reluctant' (Germany).
There were as well some graphic developments since the first edition of the novel series Angélique L'Intégrale. The original graphics of Iva Garo were replaced by other motives, at least through images from the new film Angélique (2013).
