The publisher Pocket (Paris) has announced the postponement of the release of the Angélique books, which were to be published on July 7, 2022. The books Angélique in Revolt and Angélique in Love will be published on August 11, 2022. At the same time, the planned release of the volumes Angélique and the New World and The Temptation of Angélique has been confirmed on November 10, 2022.

2022/05/27: Naming of a garden in Cannes after actress Michèle Mercier
The city of Cannes honours the French actress Michèle Mercier by naming a garden after her. The garden was inaugurated by David Lisnard, Mayor of Cannes, in the presence of the actress. On the tennis courts of Montfleury, the noise of the exchanges was covered by the voice of Michèle Mercier singing the words of Serge Gainsbourg, "La fille qui fait tchic ti tchic". The City of Cannes wished to pay tribute to the actress by naming a part of the Montfleury park after her. In the course of her long career, the actress, born in Nice and living in Cannes for several years, played about fifty characters, including the eponymous role in Angelique movie series. 2022/04/15: Another French edition
The publisher Retrouvées (Paris) announced the new edition of Angélique books. The first volume will be released in two books: Angélique, the Marquise of the Angels Vol.1 and Angélique, the Marquise of the Angels Vol.2 on July 7, 2022.

2022/03/24: The series Version d'Origin
The new editions of Angélique books, the third volume Angélique and the King and the fourth volume The Indomitable Angélique, were published by Pocket (Paris). Each volume has 864 pages and the content of both books should be identical to the first French edition of 1959 and 1960.

The publisher Pocket (Paris) will continue the edition of Angélique books. The third volume Angélique and the King and the fourth volume The Indomitable Angélique will be published on March 24, 2022. This will be followed by the books Angélique in Revolt and Angélique in Love, the release date of which was announced on July 7, 2022.

Sixty years ago, there was published the masterpiece written in Versailles for the first time in France - the historic-adventurous novel Angélique, the Marquise of the Angels, which has achieved world renown. In honor of Anne Golon there was held the concert and a festive evening called "Angélique, the Marquise of the Organ". This concert was a part of the festival "Versailles in the Sound of Organ 2017" and took place at cultural center "Espace Richaud" in Versailles.

She was the most widely read and the most translated French novelist of the 20th century, and she dedicated to her historical book series Angélique almost all her life.
